Gwent Branch of

Cats Protection

Has your cat gone missing?

If your cat is missing then there are a number of actions that you should take.

  • create some flyers of your own to put through neighbours doors, generally in a 10-15 mins walking distance of your house.
  • speak to the postman or milk man, they are often around early in the morning when it is quiet & they may have seen him.
  • also try local vets, they often have a lost & found register.
  • you can also advertise the details of your cat at the local vets, post office & local shops.
  • make posters to display on lampposts in your area.
If you let us know the information then we can pass it onto our welfare officer as she has the details of cats that are on our waiting list to come into care, therefore she could match up if you cat has been reported as a stray.

If you have a lost cat that you would like to report then please give us a call on 01633 895223 or drop us an email to gwentsouthcp@btinternet.com with the details and we will place your cat onto the Lost & Found list.
