Welcome to the Gwent Branch of            Cats Protection

The Gwent branch of Cats Protection rescues and rehomes unwanted and abandoned cats in the 'old' Gwent area. We also promote responsible ownership and try to help with the control of feral colonies through neutering and putting the cats back.

Plant Sales!

It is that time of year again - time for the Gwent CP annual plant sales!

Volunteers have been busy growing plants, planting tubs, baskets etc for the plant sales. As usual we will have a huge choice of bedding plants, shrubs, perennials etc plus baskets, tubs, troughs & more unusual items as well as CP goods, books & bric-a-brac & refreshments.

Sales will be held on Sunday 18th May at Rhiwderin Comm Centre, Rhwderin, Newport starting at 1.30pm and on Sunday 25th May at Panteg Public Hall, New Inn, Pontypool starts in 1pm (note the earlier time)  

PLEASE come along & support us & make all our hard work worthwhile.
 

Could you be the fosterer we are looking for?

We are on the look out for people who would like to foster cats or kittens in their own homes. We do have an outdoor pen available but you would need to either foster indoors at first or help out in other areas for 6 months before we installed an outdoor pen - check out our fostering page for more info.
