CATS LOOKING FOR HOMES:

Check out the Adoption Procedure Page. Check out News of Cats we have homed. Do you need an outdoor working cat?

Take a look at some of the cats that Gwent branch have staying Full Board at the moment. Can you offer them 5 star accommodation? We need a loving and permanent home for the cats listed below, who are temporarily in our foster homes awaiting adoption.

All our cats will be vet checked - any advised veterinary procedure actioned - neutered if over 4 months, wormed, de-fleaed, microchipped & vaccinated. Each cat also has a 6 weeks free veterinary fees insurance policy when they are homed.

If you would like to adopt then please check out the Adoption Procedure Page below & then contact us on 0845 371 2747 or email to gwentsouthcp@btinternet.com

Josh is a very handsome black neutered male about 3 years old. He came into care as he did not get along with the resident cat.

He is very affectionate but will also bite and play attack. Will need an experience owner who will give him time - this maybe a reaction to boredom at being in a pen - and would be best homed with no other cats or children.

Eric is a very handsome black & white neutered 2 year old long haired male. He was homed as a kitten to the Usk area but had a accident about 6 months ago which meant he had to have his tail removed and has lost some sensation in his back end – this means he will occasionally ‘miss his litter tray’ whilst sleeping.

He is a very friendly cat who is looking for someone who can forgive any little accidents that he can’t help.

He is fully vaccinated & microchipped

Misty is a black & white neutered female who was homed about 2-3 years ago (original reason she came into care was due to a child allergy). She is about 5-6yrs old and is black & white.

She came back into care as she was suffering from cystitus and this caused problems around the house.

We think it might be related to stress as the previous owner had a grandchild that stayed regularly that caused problems and she has also been treated since coming back into care.

Would need a home with no other cats or young children and someone who would be willing to deal with any 'accidents if they happen.

Sally is a tabby & white neutered female about 7 months who came into care from a garden in Bassaleg.

She has been in CP care since she was very young as she has taken a long time to become friendly. She is going to be nervous initially but when settled will be playful & friendlier, though may never be a lap cat.

She needs a home with no young children but ideally needs to be homed with another young cat for company

Mum was tested negative for FIV & FeLV.

Shadow (dark tortie neutered female) & Spirit (black neutered male) are 18 month old brother & sister who came back into care from the Llanhilleth area.

They are both fairly confident cats who are playful and affectionate. Their coats will need care and you will find a lot of hair around the house from these two!

They have been microchipped, are fully vaccinated and tested negative for FIV & FeLV

Tabby is a tortie neutered female about 8-9yrs old. She came into care from the Newport area after her owner moved away and did not take her with

She loves a fuss but being a typical tortie, can tell you when she has had enough! Therefore probably best home with no young children, she also seems to dislike other  cats and dogs.

She tested negative for FIV & FeLV, is fully vaccinated & is microchipped. She has had dental. She is also on a diet of light food.
